Travel How to travel from Lisbon to Coimbra: By train: You can take an express train (Alfa pendular or Intercidades) at one of the main Lisbon railway stations. These are Gare do Oriente and Santa Apolónia. The train schedules can be found here. The train ticket costs €31.00 (first class) or €21.50 (second class) for an Alfa pendular (depending on the schedule) or €20.00 (first class) or €15.50 (second class) for an Intercidades. Gare do Oriente is closer to the airport. A taxi ride from the airport to Gare do Oriente costs less than €10.00. By bus: The bus terminal is located at Sete Rios. The bus schedules can be found here. The ticket costs €13.00 A taxi ride from the airport to the bus terminal costs about €10.00. How to travel from Oporto to Coimbra: By train: You can take an express train (Alfa pendular or Intercidades) at Campanhã railway station. The train schedules can be found here. The train ticket costs €20.50 (first class) or €15.50 (second class) for an Alfa pendular or €14.00 (first class) or €11.00 (second class) for an Intercidades. You can reach Campanhã railway station directly by tram. The trip costs €1.45, but you will also need an Andante card which costs €0.50. More information can be found here. A taxi ride from the airport to Campanhã railway station costs about €25.00. By bus: The bus terminal is at Rua Alexandre Herculano, 366. The bus schedules can be found here. The ticket costs €11.00.
